Flower Wedding Cake Toppers
Flower wedding cake toppers are one of the more common options that brides and grooms select, if they are not going to use a figure set as the bride and groom. Your wedding cake can be anything you want it to be. If you both love flowers, then using this as the focal point of your cake can work well. It does take some time to find the right one, though, since you do want to consider a range of options for your cake design.
Flowers As Main Item or Not?
Flowers can be a main cake topper or they may be an addition to an existing item. For example, you can use a bouquet of flowers on top of the wedding cake as a way of showing off the flowers themselves. Or, you can pair them with something else, such as a pair of doves, candles or even figures of the bride and the groom. If you do want the flowers to be the only cake topper, keep in mind the importance of selecting the right topper with the right flowers. |
Color And Flower Type
The next important thing to consider when you are going with a total floral look for your wedding cake is the color and flower type. For colors, choose flower color based on the other colors on the cake or in your wedding's color scheme. For example, if you are doing a black and red wedding color scheme, be sure to pick up the red color in the flowers. The same thing goes for the flower type. If you are having flowers in your wedding such as at the ceremony and the reception, you may want to tie these flowers in to those. This is really an easy way to make everything come together.
Flower wedding cake toppers are a good route to take, especially if you both love them and cannot agree on anything else. They make an ideal choice for your wedding when you take the time to ensure the cake topper blends in well with the other décor items from your wedding day. |
